This knurling tool employs principles which have obvious advantages over traditional plunge knurling. In operation the H.S.S. knurls are diametrically opposed and being mounted on pivoted arms will follow the contour of the workpiece and automatically compensate any out-of-true running. Eliminates side load on machine and workpiece. Exceptionally good for small diameter knurling. For details of alternative knurls see WDS No 5365.
