The direct operated proportional pressure relief valve EPDBDGA-05/06 enables pressures to be set proportional to the solenoid current. The proportional pressure relief valve EPDBDGA-05/06 can be used directly to limit flow rates of up to 12 l/min or as a pilot valve for remote-controlled pressure relief or pressure control valves. The valve opens as soon as the pressure applied to port P reaches the current setpoint value (solenoid current) thus allowing the medium to flow to port T. If the pressure drops again, the valve closes with low hysteresis. The valve has a fast and precise control behaviour that remains stable even when vibration is present. It is relatively insensitive to oil contamination. The control piston is hardened and polished. The very robust valve is characterised by its very flat Δp/Q characteristic curve.
