The flow-captor type 4204, together with the
separate electronic unit type 4054.31, monitors flow
as well as temperature of water-based liquids up to a temperature of 100 °C.
The non-intrusive flow-captor with stainless steel (WN 1.4305) housing and sensing surface, which can be easily mounted by means of the stainless steel ¾ " thread, transmits the pulsed flow signal and the analog temperature signal to the transducer where they are
converted into analog voltage output signals.
The flow-captor functions according to a new calorimetric principle which is uncontended when compared with other measuring technologies,
especially mechanical, where the rugged and
reliable quality of the flow-captor cannot be attained.
