Ultrasonic component cleaning enables fast, reproducible and economic removal of films and particulate dirt from virtually all substrates. The frequency of the ultrasonic waves emitted by the ultrasonic generator is the key factor for the cleaning effect. Conventional generators can generally only produce one frequency, which means that several ultrasonic cleaning systems are often required to cope with different cleaning tasks, for example coarse, fine and superfine cleaning, or a different parts or material spectrum. Weber Ultrasonics, one of the world's leading manufacturers of ultrasonic components, puts an end to these increased requirements for space and investment using digital multifrequency ultrasonic technology. SONIC DIGITAL MULTI generators are available as a three-frequency device with 40, 80 and 120 kHz and as a two-frequency device with 25 and 50 kHz, which can simply be set on the device. Because the frequency is generated and controlled digitally, the power output can always be adjusted in the range from 10% to 100%. The SONIC DIGITAL MULTI module generators are also equipped with a connectable interval function.
SONIC DIGITAL MULTI generators are used with SONOSUB MULTI submersible transducers, which are specially tuned to the appropriate frequencies and come equipped with a special set of transducer elements. Each of these elements can convert the ultrasonic waves emitted by the generator into mechanical oscillations of the respective frequency; this assures higher efficiency in comparison to conventional multifrequency transducers. www.weber-ultrasonics.com
