The transducer system, which transfers the ultrasonic waves into the cleaning fluid, is critical to the effectiveness and process safety of an ultrasonic cleaning unit. Weber Ultrasonics, one of the world's leading manufacturers of ultrasonic components, sets standards in this field with its SONOPUSH and SONOPUSH HD rod-style transducers, SONOSUB submersible transducers and SONOPLATE plate transducers. The SONOPUSH, made from a special titanium alloy, impresses with its long service life, an extremely homogeneous sound field without gaps or dips, and optimised operational reliability. In comparison with conventional rod-style transducers, the SONOPUSH HD produces 20% more power output at the same beam length and consistent omnidirectional sonic distribution. The heavy duty rod-style transducer therefore enables significantly shorter cleaning times or higher throughput. A high level of stability, resistance to temperatures of up to 95°C even in continuous operation and vacuum and overpressure resistance up to 10 bar ensure a long service life. The SONOSUB is a submersible transducer with laser-welded housing. Its innovative welding technique makes the delicate welded joint extremely smooth, thus preventing dirt deposits and recontamination. What's more, the ultrasonic transducer provides a dimensional accuracy and lack of distortion not possible with any other welding method. SONOPLATE plate transducers are the ideal alternative when fitting out baths for the first time or retrofitting existing baths where little space is available.
