The SAI Active range includes fieldbus components for PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet™, CANopen, Industrial Ethernet and AS-Interface, which helps to achieve consistent, modular and decentralised industrial automation.
Automation technology based on such a system is transparent, efficient and cost-effective. In order to be able to exploit the cost-savings effect of fieldbus-networked I/O systems to the full, the input and/or output units should be brought into the process decentrally. Modules in class of protection IP 67 are used in contaminated and/or very damp environments.
