Weidmüller overvoltage protection type PU II protects low-voltage consumer installations and electronic devices against overvoltages that can occur as a result of atmospheric discharges (thunderstorms) or switching operations (transients).
The PU II series complies with the requirements of class II to IEC 61643-1:05-03, type 2 to EN 61643-11, and class C to DIN VDE0675 pt 6: 89-11A1:96-02/A2:96-10
