The use of machines for the production of wire mesh began towards the end of the 19th century as an offshoot from the textile industry with which, in numerous production processes, it still has much in common. Today, the manufacture and testing of precision mesh products at W & E is based entirely on computer controlled machines and systems. The Company's products are used by countless industries and for over 2000 different purposes.
