MP1200 Wheelabrator Group

The MP 1200 multi-purpose CNC peening machine has applications in the automotive industry in the treatment of gears, crown wheels and shafts. It is also used in the aerospace industry to treat discs and blades.
Due to its high level of flexibility, this installation is the appropriate solution when many kinds of components are to be treated with different recipes in the same cell. Key features include its compact size and its ease of programming and set-up.

• Shot-peening and glass bead peening of complex components in batch process
• Component maximum size: 1200 mm diameter x 800 mm height; weight: 250 kg
• Pitless pneumatic recovery. Dedicated classification device depending on chosen media with compact low height design
• Several arrangements depending on process requirement, suction or pressure system, accurate closed loop regulation for shot flow and air pressure
• 3-NC accurate axis nozzle(s) manipulator mounted on roof: X = 800 mm/ Z= 800 / A+/- 135°
• Optional Wall side lance peening system, including rotary lance and X/Z NC axis group
• Large access door with large protected window and special arrangement for an upper loading. Door sealing assured by pneumatic inflatable seal. Secured manual blasting station optional
• NC rotary and indexing table driven by brushless motor and precision reducer
• Multi-option table equipped with 4, 8 or 12 rotating satellites
• CNC control: Fanuc Powermate/ Num 1040 or Siemens 810D. Optional supervision software with maintenance assistance and process quality reporting
• Sound level 80 dBA or 75 dBA with optional sound enclosure
• System and process control compliant with DMP 28, MIL S 1365 and AMS 2432
