Widney UK Ltd is the market leader in the design and manufacture of telescopic slides to meet customer specifications. A full range is available covering both light duty and heavy duty slides, carrying loads from 10 kg up to 600 kg.

A standard range of designs are offered covering closed lengths from 250mm up to 1000mm. Extensions are available from 50% on two beam slides, up to 140 % on four beam slides depending on the model selected. Slides are manufactured in either steel or aluminium, with plated or anodised finishes. A wide variety of locks and latches can be fitted and demountable slide beams are also available on certain slides.

With its flexible manufacturing facility Widney can manufacture slides to any length required and match hole-fixing positions, therefore offering the perfect slide for the application.

Many of the slides have been tested to withstand shock and vibration conditions, and are suitable for rugged environments such as Fire Engines, Battery Boxes, Military Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and various demanding applications.
