Bag winding machine
max. 250 p/min | ROTASAC
WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER
Bags on a roll are an alternative to palletized sacks. The ROTASAC reeling system winds the sacks on rolls using two narrow endless tapes that hold the sacks in place. With a diameter of approx. 1.5 meters, the finished rolls contain about 3500 - 5000 sacks.
Depending on the specific requirements to be met, the ROTASAC can work in conjunction with the bottomer via TRANSYSTEMS automation elements and in this way be integrated into the automatic production flow or can be used
off-line as a separate sack reeler. The machine essentially consists of a rotary feeder to separate the individual sacks from the stack, a shingle conveyor to transfer the sacks to the reeling system, and the reeling system proper.
Two reeling units are incorporated and alternatingly supplied with sacks. They can be moved sideways to allow for fast and easy roll changes. Once the holding tapes are fixed in place, which is done either by sealing or gluing, the finished rolls are delivered on to a transport pallet with the aid of hydraulically operated pivoting arms.
