The 300T is simply attached to a field signal and reports directly to a 300R unit that is centrally located to receive transmissions and store these in a database. The information can be exported via a serial link for connection to PLCs, SCADA or DCS systems.
There are an almost limitless number of applications for the 300T and 300R system. Typical applications are in utilities (water distribution monitoring, reservoir overflow monitoring, gas holder seal monitoring) and within industry to monitor machinery, switches and temperatures.
With a battery life of up to 10 years and self configuration, the 300T and 300R system is a “fit and forget” monitoring solution that is supplied in die cast aluminium housing and can be prepared for extreme variations in temperature or weather.
In addition to transmitting status signals, the 300T also delivers information about its set up, parameter settings and health status in each message. This allows 300R to automatically reconfigure itself to accommodate changes made by 300T (such as alarm settings and transmission rates).
300T can be configured to transmit at intervals from as little as 30 seconds up to once every 12 hours. The effective range is up to 1000 metres.
The 300T/300R system enables effective monitoring and measurement to be conducted on any site where cabling is not a realistic option or at remote sites where regular maintenance is difficult.
