The dVMo-TM Portable Transmitter enables a user to transmit video, audio and data to a receiver some distance away. It has most of the functions of a standard dVMo-T, but in a form that can easily be carried or worn. A small antenna attaches directly, and apart from the source equipment, for example a camera, the unit only requires an external 12V battery or other external 12V DC power source. An external switch allows the unit to be placed in Sleep mode to conserve power, and then made operational very quickly when needed.Initial setting-up can be done in the same way as the standard dVMo-T, using a link to a PC, but normal operation is extremely simple, with an on/off switch, and a multicoloured LED indicating status.The main differences from the dVMo-T is the absence of transport stream connections and on-screen display (OSD) of status at the receiver.Various versions are available in the UHF and S bands.
