Description

The hardness testers of WPM serve to determine the hardness of steel and metals of all types based on Brinell, Vickers und Rockwell. Mainly, they can be applied with cast iron, untempered steel and light metal. Series: - HM 1810 and 1830 for Rockwell - HPO 250 for Vickers and HPO 3000 for Brinell - HP 250 for Rockwell and Brinell Functioning: For hardness testing based on Brinell, a ball is pressed into the specimen and the diameter of the left indentation is measured. For hardness testing based on Rockwell, the indenter is pressed into the surface of the specimen in two steps and the remaining depth of indentation of the indenter is measured by a dial gauge.
