Plant Resource Manager (PRM) is a key platform for the Yokogawa VigilantPlant Asset Excellence initiative. An online and centralized automation asset management system, PRM helps both operators and maintenance personnel prevent downtime, and reduces maintenance costs.

-PROFIBUS Support
PRM supports PROFIBUS DP/PA devices and HART devices connected to PROFIBUS DP. The communication with PROFIBUS is performed via the third party devices using CommDTM/GatewayDTM.

-Field Wireless Devices Support
Field wireless devices compliant with the field wireless standard ISA100.11a are supported. The communication with field wireless devices is performed via a Field Wireless Integrated Gateway.

- CommDTM/GatewayDTM Support
Installing the commDTM/gateway DTM provided by the vendors to communication server PC enables PRM to add a communication network to communicate with field devices via communication protocols. Through commDTM/gatewayDM, PRM is enabled to set and adjust the field devices. PRM support PROFIBUS communication devices and the Field Wireless Integrated Gateway.

- Maintenance Mark
The maintenance mark shows the work status of devices for maintenance engineers. By linking the maintenance mark with the operation mark of CENTUM function block allows both the maintenance engineer and the operator to share information and coordinate their work.
