With increasing numbers, image intensifiers are replacing the traditional film-based radiography systems in industrial X-ray inspection. The YXLON Industrial grade image intensifiers, XRS152, XRS232 and XRS302, are designed specifically for the high demands of X-ray inspection in the field of non-destructive material testing.

The Image Intensifiers consist of an image intensifier tube, a closed circuit imaging camera, and a system control unit. This modular concept of YXLON Image Intensifiers enables the expansion and diverse configuration of system functions. Four different imaging camera mounting positions are provided to accommodate for diverse applications that may have different space requirements. Once configured and installed, both Image Intensifier units operate as one and require no maintenance under normal operational conditions.
