Zasche Z-Arm units consist of a pneumatically powered parallelogram arm. Z-Arm units can be used in the following combinations:
* mounted on a pillar
* as suspended travelling units
* as suspended stationary units
Z-Arm units feature particularly light operation and require only low manual forces. They ensure loads are handled in a permanently stable position. Z-Arm units were designed according to the relevant standards and subjected to long-term trials and vibration tests in our test facility. This made it possible to verify the theoretical design calculations in practical trials. Standard elements and clamp connections ensure that the individual Z-Arm sub-assemblies can be made up into larger units in a minimum of time without having to be welded together. The modular design provides for mounting both to crab frames for suspended travelling applications in KBK installations as well as for stationary operation on a pillar (standing or suspended). Free configuration of the lightrunning pneumatic cylinders facilitates operation for pull or push applications. Z-Arm parallelogram units are supplied in three different load classes:
Z-A compact: 250 Nm/100 kg
Z-A 10.1 500 Nm/100 kg
Z-A 20.1 800 Nm/200 kg
