DSP lock-in amplifier
50 MHz, 2 Lock-in Units, 120 dB | HF2LI Zurich Instruments

The HF2LI has been since its launch in 2009 the only digital lock-in amplifier supporting the frequency range from 1 µHz to 50 MHz. The dynamic reserve is 120 dB and the input voltage noise is as low as 5 nV/√Hz. With 2 physical units it replaces 2 traditional lock-in amplifiers in measurement setups. Each unit comes with a minimum of three dual-phase demodulators with both cartesian and polar outputs. All HF2 Instruments are delivered with the best-in-class control and measurement software ziControl. All HF2 Instruments contain:
- 2 high-frequency measurement units
- 2 high-frequency multi-sine signal generators
- 1 high-resolution Frequency Response Sweeper
- 1 high-resolution FFT Spectrum Analyzer
- 1 low-resolution oscilloscope (2048 samples) plus FFT
- 1 time domain spectroscope
Instruments can be upgrade later in the field with a broad variety of options including an AM/FM modulation package, up to four PID controllers and realtime programming of the lock-in output data.
