A single solution: This hardness testing machine enables tests according to Vickers, Brinell or Knoop. It has been built by combining the hardness test device for optical methods with a zwicki test machine. The built-in load battery permits test loads between 2 and 200 N to be applied electromechanically. The Industrial ccd camera is placed on a microscope angled at 90°. Professional lenses and mounting unit(s) for the indentor(s) are integrated in the revolver head so that position change between setting and measuring the indentation takes place by rotating the revolver. The revolver head is equipped with four stations, i.e. two indentors and two objective lenses can also be combined.
A testXpert® master test program includes standard tests according to Vickers, Knoop, and Brinell. Add-ons are optionally available for automatic indentation measurement and focusing as well as for hardness sequence tests with manual or motorized compound tables.
