ZHU2.5/Z2.5 : The most Universal Hardness meter of the World
The ZHU2.5/Z2.5 is the most versatile all-round hardness professional tester the world has ever seen. It is based on a materials testing machine type "zwicki": Simply mount the hardness measurement head. The hardness measurement head is constructed so that it can be used with all Zwick materials industrial testing machines, and for automation. Equipped with other tools or grips, this modular professional test system is also suitable for tensile, compression and flexure tests.
testXpert® is also utilized as the test software. A cost-optimized supplement has been developed solely for optical hardness test methods.
Integrated in the hardness measurement head are a digital travel measurement system, a force gauge and an
interchangeable indentor with measurement transducer.
On the whole the hardness measurement head encompasses all hardness tests with indentation depth measurement, e.g. Universal Hardness HU macro range or Martens hardness HM, Rockwell hardness, ball indentation hardness H, Vickers depth measurement HVT, and Brinell depth measurement HBT.
