Backs up the DELPHYS UPS, overcoming the constraints, risks, costs and hazards of batteries.
The solution inverter DELPHYS with dynamic storage of energy VSS DC was carried out by the partnership between SOCOMEC UPS and PENTADYNE.
PRINCIPLE
VSS DC uses a very high-speed, rotating flywheel.
The rotating assembly is held up by maintenance-free electromagnetic levitation, with no contact with other parts.
A maintenance-free internal system vacuum
eliminates friction and maximizes energy efficiency.
The flywheel-driven generator supplies energy to the UPS during a power failure, thus providing continuous power to the load.
When mains power is restored, the flywheel
takes between 20 seconds and 2 minutes to return to full speed.

Measurement is the key link in managing an energy efficiency project. The new range of COUNTIS E meters is part of a global solution designed by SOCOMEC for installers, integrators and users in industry and the service sector.
COUNTIS E meters measure the power consumed by loads, enabling control, monitoring and allocation of consumption:
• They measure the kWh consumed and, for some models, they also show the kvarh and kW. They are equipped with a pulse output, an image of the measured energy which can be connected to a COUNTIS Ci type pulse concentrator.
• Single phase or three-phase direct connection up to 100A or connection by external CTs allows an optimum response to all applications.
• The RS 485 communication option for COUNTIS E30 and E40 versions allows the meter to be connected to an interface or supervision system.
• COUNTIS versions can be fitted on a DIN rail or under a modular front panel.
• They are also available in a MID EN 50470-3 B+D class B version
Compliant with standards CEI 62053-21&23 and 61557-12, they guarantee that the user is working with a product that has been designed and tested to fulfil the functional requirements of their application.

For several years, DIRIS has been the benchmark for measuring units and is therefore the "Measuring model". DIRIS A20, A40 and A41 multifunction measuring units are very often requested in specifications because they meet the needs of the end users perfectly.
Today, SOCOMEC equips its DIRIS A20 and A40 models with new functions and completes the offer with:
a modular entry-level model: DIRIS A10,
a top end model equipped with extended qualimetry functions :DIRIS A60.
There is now a DIRIS A multifunction measuring unit for every industrial and services sector application.
Presented in a modular unit for DIN rail, the DIRIS A10 is designed for terminal distribution applications in the industrial or services sectors. For users that require more developed functions than simple counting, it is an alternative to the COUNTIS type energy counters. The DIRIS A10 is fitted with an RS485 communication port and integrates as standard an internal temperature measurement
In their recess boxes, the DIRIS A20, A40 and A41 count the energy consumed and measure all the electrical quantities and temperatures. They monitor the electrical networks and analyse the quality of the energy by the detailed breakdown of the harmonics and identification of the troughs, disconnections and overvoltage.
Finally the DIRIS A60 appeals to users wishing to monitor the quality of the energy on their network. It has all the functions of the DIRIS A40 and integrates the wave capture functions (via the half-period RMS values) for events as well as over-voltage management.
