This tape offers a durable abrasion and puncture resistant glass cloth backing that is conformable for ease of installation. Our 3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 398FRP (PDF, 10.49 Kb) has a printed liner which shows it meets industry FAR specifications. This tape features pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that adheres to a variety of substrates. It is mounted on a blue, polyethylene, skip-slit liner for ease of application. Once bonded, this adhesive provides high, secure adhesion for extended periods in a wide range of climate and temperature conditions, including temperatures as high as 250°F/121°C. This tape features good puncture resistance, high tensile strength and superior abrasion resistance.
