It offers excellent dielectric and varnish absorption characteristics while ensuring low moisture absorption. 3M™ DMD® High Performance Flexible Laminate is ideal for slot cell, phase and wedge insulation. The conjunction of the inorganic filled resin system and 2 layers of the polyester film make this laminate suitable for major high temperature applications. It exhibits optimized thermal conductivity, long term voltage endurance and coil bonding characteristics. The tear initiation and cut through resistant polyester film reinforcement are excellent for automatic insertion and heavy duty winding operations.
