Description

Advanced rotary shaft encoder – monitors slide gate position, shaft position, and shaft speed with precision. Applications of the Encoder-Flex 1024 range from tracking the position of rack and pinion gates, valves, and distributors to measuring the rotational speed of shafts, e.g. on slow-moving conveyors, mixers, and dryers. The Encoder-Flex 1024 employs cutting-edge technology to precisely monitor gate position or shaft speed. It offers customizable resolution, ranging from 1 to 1024 pulses per revolution, and provides multiple output options, including a 4-20 mA signal and quadrature pulsed output for directional speed. Additionally, it supports Modbus RTU communication for advanced configuration and diagnostics. To facilitate easy operation and target detection, the Encoder-Flex 1024 features two status LEDs. Calibration is easy, as the unit can be quickly adjusted using a magnet, whether you're measuring shaft speed, angular shaft position, or gate position. The device's durable sealed body is crafted from stainless steel for added longevity and reliability.
