Description

Primary cleaners are belt cleaners that are designed to scrape material off the conveyor belt. Pre-cleaners are mounted to the head pulley, below the material flow. They are ideal for removing large pieces of material – typically about 60-70 percent of initial carryback. AE pre-cleaners are available in a variety of widths and blade types that can tackle even the toughest materials. Conveyor Belt Cleaner on Return Side of Belt Secondary cleaners are belt cleaners that are built to scrape materials left on the belt beyond the head pulley. Secondary cleaners are located just past where the belt leave the head pulley, and anywhere else down the beltline. Secondary cleaners are especially good at removing fines and can increase cleaning efficiency to more than 90 percent. AE secondary cleaners handle a variety of applications, with polyurethane, carbide, and brush options available. AE V-Ploughs are fabricated in a robust V Shape, accompanied with polyurethane blades to direct rouge material away from the head drum, protecting the conveyor belt, tail drum, and take-up pulleys. AE Diagonal-Ploughs are accompanied with polyurethane blades to direct rouge material away from the head drum, protecting the conveyor belt, tail drum, and take-up pulleys in bi-direction (Reversible). AE has served to various plants to handle multiple materials like fertilizer, coal, sugar, cement, iron ore, gypsum, clinker, woodchip, silica sand, aggregates, mustard straw, limestone, palm kernel, etc., with the range of 650mm – 1800mm belt width.
