• ETCS is a cost-effective system with the application of advanced IP AudioTM technology for highways and tunnel. ETCS is usually connected to a control centre and/or emergency troubleshooting services. Automatic dialing on the handset elevator is often used to connect users directly to the remote control center for an appropriate response in each situation, or point-to-point communication by keyboard for routine maintenance inspection staff.
The ETCS system can support general or group pagination via the main console of the control room, even very complex, by combining the appropriate elements, such as an additional siren/speaker or a flash beacon.
The ETCS system supports the fibre optic network. Modern and efficient road administration facilities use enhanced control and mechanization methods to gain better control while reducing costs. The use of fiber optics for effective communications and to monitor, analyze and control equipment and facilities is proven to improve efficiency. Fibre optic networks are therefore used to manage, control and interconnect a wide range of traffic technology such as the public address system/SCADA/fire detection system.
