High performance ratings in a compact design The gas-insulated switchgear ELK-3 for ratings up to 550 kV, 6300 A, 80 kA is applied in all 420 kV and 550 kV grids worldwide. More than 1,500 installed circuit breaker bays demonstrate proven excellent performance of our product. ELK-3 is available with several options for the highest requirements. Some of the places where the largest 550 kV GIS has been installed worldwide include Three Gorges Dam-China and Itaipu Binacional-Brazil/Paraguay hydro power plants.
