Description

• Circular magnet with steel casted housing • type ADR 10 - diameter 1,02 m / • nominal power 5,7 kW / dead weight 680 kg Our circular type lifting magnets have been designed for the high-demanding lifting application of scrap handling. It is being used in scrap yards, for drop ball application, in steel mills for charging of scrap buckets, in foundries but as well for (un)loading of trucks, railcars or vessels. You will find those lifting magnets under operation onto excavators, mobile cranes, overhead travel cranes, gantry or harbor cranes. In accordance to customer requirements and specification, alternatively, we offer version with ribbed type steel casted housing (type ADR) and version with smooth type steel welded housing (type ADRS). We would be pleased to recommend type of magnet, best suited to your budget and application. Usually mechanical stress for scrap lifting magnets will be quite big, especially when being used under 3-shift-operation. To reduce wear of magnet poles, we offer hardfacing as an option, here an extremely hard layer will be welded upon complete pole surface. Particularly when being on duty in rough cleaning / sweeping application, where unprotected poles will abrade quickly, this wear protection will save money and downtime caused by repair of magnet. Electrical connection of magnet via fix terminal box by standard, installed behind massive protective plate. Alternatively, upon request, we offer version with heavy type plug & socket connection, installed underneath sturdy version hinged cover.
