corrosion protection coating / for metal structures
for metal structures
A low VOC (less than 100 g/l) version of our Cold Galvanize Coating. An exceptionally smooth flowing, high-solids compound that provides a fast drying coating to protect ferrous metals in highly corrosive environments. Zinc fuses to metal substrates for protection equal to or better than hot-dipped galvanizing. The sacrificial anodization causes the zinc to scarifice itself for the base metal's protection. Stops rust and corrosion on any steel or iron surface.
Contains 97% pure zinc
Yields 93% zinc in a dry film
Meets multiple performance requirements of ASTM, MIL, and DOD specifications (see product data sheet for details)
Performs aqt temperatures up to 150°F (65°C)
Withstands up to 2,000 hours of salt spray exposure
Applications: Use on damaged galvanized surfaces, structural steel, automobiles, guardrails, bridges, TV and radio towers, welded joints, storage tanks, signs and signposts, equipment, gutters, pipelines, transformers, and corrugated metal buildings.
