The Agrimac TW17 forklift truck is a conversion of the TH-175 model to a 4x4 in-wheel motor transmission. It retains the compact design, high ground clearance, and 4x4 traction, but with improvements because the off-road traction distributed across the in-wheel motors is more efficient and safer than that of differential axles.
The in-wheel motor system uses an anti-skid block that coordinates the effort of the wheels. It gives more or less power to each wheel depending on the work each one does separately, ensuring that the whole unit acts in a coordinated manner. This ensures that the relationship between the wheels is perfect and makes the difference in size between them irrelevant. Grip is assured at all times.
The TW17 forklift is equipped with Kubota's V 1505 Stage V engine. It develops 25 hp. This is 18.5 kW, which is the established limit that does not require a particulate filter or electronic injection. The savings on the particulate filter are added to the savings on engine servicing, since a mechanical engine such as the V 1505 can be serviced at any workshop, unlike engines with electronic components.
In the European Union, regulations limit this engine to 2,300 rpm and 18.5 kW. However, the torque remains the same as the original machine: 92.5 Nm. For this reason, the engine runs smoothly, resulting in very low fuel consumption. Production line
