Agitators (or mixers) are necessary for mixing powdered substances or liquids in water in the areas where recipes are prepared. Normally these are cylindrical tanks in which the mixer will be positioned on the lid.
The lantern with the fixing flange, moreover, will be the element containing two bearings that will hold the shaft. These components can have variable length and on their ends a propeller consisting of three blades, of marine or cowles type, is positioned. The motor, usually three-phase or single-phase, then turns the propeller clockwise, stirring the liquid being prepared.
The size of the motor and the propeller will then be established based on the quantity and density of the liquid to be stirred. Finally, the industrial sectors in which we can see the application of these mixing systems are numerous, starting from the textile or food industry, continuing with the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, up to the purification systems and industries.
