This product is extremely useful in all applications where is required flexibility of use, ease installation, total reliability and changes of cable length at site.
The minimum cutting length varies depending on the requests of the clients, with a minimum of 500mm.
Working principle In the Constant Power Cable Heaters the phase and neutral conductors in charge of electricity transport are insulated with silicone rubber sleeve, which is wrapped with very dense coils of a heating wire in Nickel-Chromium.
At intervals of 500mm (alternating the phase and neutral conductors) the silicone rubber insulation is removed on purpose to approximately 10mm enabling the coil to be in contact with the phase conductor or neutral conductor in alternation.
In this way we generate several heating circuits of 500mm length, all of them in parallel.
An additional silicon rubber protection layer is applied to ensure mechanical strength, electrical insulation and sealing as protection against chemical agents in the event of use in risky environments.
To energize this heating cable is enough to just connect the phase and neutral conductors with a voltage supply.
You only must be careful not put in contact the heating coil with the power conductors at the two ends of the cable. The ends should be isolated with a double insulation sleeve with special glue to recovery the double insulation.
