The GARLIC CLOVES CRUSHER has been designed and built to carry out the homogenous shelling of
previously dried garlic bulbs deprived of impurities.
The shelling takes place thanks to the different peripheral speed and the progressive reduction of
the distance of the two lower and upper belts.
The latter is adjustable to adapt to any type of garlic.
Working principle of the machine:
The garlic bulbs are placed inside the loading hopper, the bucket elevator takes the product and drops it between two rubber belts which, advancing at different speeds, shell the bulbs. At the exit of the belts the cloves and the leaves fall onto a vibrating grid which acts as a sieve, the cloves pass and fall below and then exit while the leaves remain at the top and through a jet of air generated by a fan they come out of a special side hood.
Main components of the machine
elevator with hopper: The frame is made up of two c-shaped profiles and a platform made from folded and electro-welded sheet metal; the carpet is dragged by two rollers, only one of which is motorized by a gearmotor; the belt tension and centering adjustment system is via four slide tie rods. Pressed steel cups are fixed on the PVC belt which act as a conveyor, the distance and conformity of the cups allow the bulbs to rise one by one facilitating the shelling in the subsequent shelling belts
