Description

In-vehicle testing system for checking the steering wheel centering, usable with passenger and commercial vehicles. The system works logging CAN/LIN signals (steering wheel torques, angles, vehicle speeds, VIN) and analyzing them through a customizable algorithm. At the end of each test execution, the instrument shows the test result allowing the user to accept or discard the result. The onboard device is supplied with a user friend PC software application for uploading the acquired data, showing graphs, exporting data in Windows format, updating the acquisition system firmware and customize it according to different vehicles. The system stores data related to several tests in order to simplify the post processing analysis.
