Type NWC is a robust conduit with a galvanised steel core, with integral grounding copper wire (upto size 1.1/4”) and a thick, smooth, radiation resistant PE cover for use in nuclear containment applications. This durable and abrasion resistant polyethylene cover meets the IEEE 323-1974 and IEEE 383-1974 guidelines and is resistant to heat, oil and chemical breakdown. The integrated copper grounding wire feature ensures a EMI/EMP shielding in applications where a high degree of electrical continuity is required. Type NWC was NUPIC Listed No. 2651.
