DescriptionThe TicMasterSwitch® combines a TicMaster® and a TicSwitch® in a single enclosure. All features of both devices are available.
TicMaster® features- Decodes customer Teleinformation (TIC) frames as provided by EDF/ERDF electronic meters.
- One TIC input with integrated opto-isolated coupler to avoid common-mode issues and compatible with long TIC lines.
- Configurable input impedance (high or low) for coexistence with third-party systems (DEIE, concentrators, ...).
- Compatible with Blue (CBE), Yellow (CJE), Green (ICE), PME-PMI and SAPHIR meters.
- Supports all TIC speeds (1200 or 9600 baud) and meters with injection (4Q – PME-PMI / Emeraude / Saphir).
- Firmware compliant with ERDF normative document ERDF-NOI-CPT_0x. More than 550 TIC labels decoded; up to 1100 individual quantities accessible.
- Error handling routines for typical TIC defects (missing data, mixed frames, missing CRC, ...).
- Summation of index totals (all tariff slots combined) and per-energy totals with access to load curves.
- Version M: persistent data storage even without power (non-volatile memory).
TicSwitch® features- Extracts the current tariff slot from TIC signals and displays it via one of 8 dry-contact NO outputs.
- Supports up to 8 tariff slots depending on meter type and contract.
- Tariff slot support by meter type:
- Blue (CBE): up to 6 slots (HCJB/HCJW/HCJR/HPJB/HPJW/HPJR)
- Linky (LNK): 1 to 8 slots
- Yellow (CJE): 6 slots (HPE/HCE/HPH/HCH/P/PM)
- Green (ICE): up to 8 slots (PM/HH/HPE/HCE ...)
- ICE-4Q injection: up to 8 slots (P/HPH/HCH/HPE/HCE/...)
- PME-PMI: up to 8 slots (PTCOUR1 or PTCOUR2)
- SAPHIR: up to 8 slots (PTCOURD or PTCOURF)
- With CBE, CJE and ICE-2Q: decodes the current withdrawal period.
- With ICE-4Q, PME-PMI and SAPHIR: configurable to decode withdrawal or injection period via a dedicated Modbus register.
Miscellaneous- Unused TOR outputs can be reassigned for Modbus control.
- Supervision and alarm functions available for high-reliability applications.
- LED indicators for quick commissioning and diagnostics; monitoring of each TIC channel accessible via Modbus.
Commissioning- Delivered ready to use. Apart from setting the Modbus address, no configuration is required for basic operation.
- TIC channel configuration and Modbus table generation are automatic. No dedicated software or hardware is needed.
Applications- Building management systems (BMS/BAS)
- Energy management and optimization systems
- Energy monitoring
- Remote metering systems
Target sites- Small buildings
- Private installations (consumption + PV production)
- Logistics warehouses
- Small main switchboards (TGBT)
- Small residential blocks
