The miniature size and light weight Ashcroft® K8 is a well proven pressure transducer based on polysilicon thin film technology. Proven metal diaphragm and a polysilicon strain gage bridge are provided with simple, stable molecular bonds with Modern low-pressure chemical vapor deposition methods. No epoxies or bonding agents are responsible for signal instability or drift. The K8 comes in many standard pressure ranges with high quality millivolt output. The signal output is proportional to supply voltage. Sensitivity varies between 6-18 mV/V at full scale. Transducer performance is directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology
The transducer with 0.5% and 1.0% accuracy and 45 - 20,000 psi pressure range are extensively used in hydraulic, hand tools, machine tool, compressor, HVAC, medical, control valves, construction equipment and all general purpose industrial process and OEM applications. The device provides long term stability and repeatability and comes with various range of pressure and electrical connections.
