Description

Autoclaves for food disinfection by CO2 Specially designed for the disinfection of food products, such as tea plants, flavorings, infusions, rice and more organic products. There are many food products that must be disinfected of possible insect pests and their larvae and eggs that cause great damage, before being marketed. For this purpose, CO2 autoclaves were born, which allow the disinfection of products such as rice, mushrooms, spices, fruits, dried vegetables, seeds, vegetables, cereals, almonds, among many other organic products without altering their properties, without leaving residues, in an environmentally friendly way and in a very short time. The treatment process consists of pressurizing the autoclave with carbon dioxide at pressures above 15 bar and maintaining this pressure for the time necessary to completely disinfect all products. CO2 does not alter the properties of the products, making it ideal for many applications, and is distributed homogeneously throughout the autoclave cylinder, regardless of its length, thus ensuring total disinfection of all products introduced into the autoclave. The autoclave can be manufactured in food-grade stainless steel or carbon steel, depending on your needs. Furthermore, the CO2 is distributed homogeneously throughout the entire autoclave cylinder and a large part of it can be reused for a subsequent treatment in another autoclave installed in parallel, thus reducing CO2 consumption.
