Description
Submersible pressure transmitters are ideal for level measuring in vessels, waste water systems and wells. The AF903 submersible pressure transmitter is lowered into the vessel together with the cable and measures the hydrostatic pressure of the water column. The actual level is determined in this manner. AF903 has a 10 m long cable and can measure levels of up to 5 mH2O. The submersible pressure transmitter is suitable for drinking water applications, waste water and aggressive media.
The AF903 submersible pressure transmitter demonstrates excellent impermeability at large immersion depths. The stainless steel housing is very robust and boasts a high-quality finish. The relative pressure measuring cell measures the hydrostatic pressure of the water column and converts it into a 4...20 mA signal. A capillary tube is integrated in the connection cable and is used for atmospheric pressure compensation. A filter protects the open end of the tube against clogging. The filter and the cap are included in the scope of delivery.
