The AO026’s compact size makes it especially suitable where space is limited. Its sensitivity can be set intuitively via a potentiometer, light-on or dark-on mode can be selected simply by turning a rotary switch, while a clearly delineated, homogeneous spot of visible red light aids precise alignment for exact measurement results as well as reliably preventing interference with other photoelectric sensors nearby, because no scattered light is involved. The AO026 provides outstanding performance in a practical form and an excellent price-performance ratio. There is also an alternative version of the AO026, the structurally identical AO004 , with a stainless steel housing and IP69K protection rating. The AO004 is suitable for use in hygiene-sensitive and wet zones.
