Overview Through beam sensor (receiver; transmitter: AO030) with plastic housing, M18 thread and M12 connector (3-pin) Easy adjustment due to visible red light Insensitive to dust, steam and lens contamination dark-on mode Description The AO031 is a transmitter for through-beam optical sensors that achieves very long ranges with red light. The high-quality plastic housing is IP67 protected and offers a cost-effective alternative to comparable devices with metal housings. With the suitable receiver AO030 the transmitted red light is detected up to a distance of 8 m. The large and clearly visible light spot allows convenient alignment of the transmitter. The light spot diameter is 600 mm at maximum range. The AO031 offers an excellent price/performance ratio and can be put into operation immediately after installation without further adjustments. Connection is convenient via an M12 plug connection. The high-quality plastic housing is very compact and has a cylindrical M18 threaded design. The device can therefore be easily screwed in and is perfectly suited for use in conveyor and handling technology.
