Description

The flanging machine for dished heads, model HFM, is a fully hydraulic machine for the production of edges on flat or convex bottoms for tanks. Our production range reaches thicknesses up to 40 mm and 6000 mm in diameter. The HFM flanging machine can be equipped with or without a central hole and the operator can follow the work process step-by-step on the operator panel. Our machines are characterized by a very sturdy structure in electro-welded steel, subjected to stress relieving heat treatment and sandblasting treatment to eliminate the tension caused by welding. The machine is complete with: motorization with hydraulic motor – epicyclic reduction gear of the form roll; a bottom trolley with horizontal and vertical movements; a forming roll to obtain the desired radius of the bottom; a beading roll that is used to adapt the bottom to the form roll; guide rollers that move on special guides with the function of supporting and holding the bottom against the form roll; system for the movements of the forming roll with drives performed by means of hydraulic cylinders; The operator can follow the work process step-by-step with movement adjustment from a single control panel by adjusting pressure potentiometers and viewing all the information on the HMI operator panel. The flanging machine on request can be made for forming hot convex bottoms. Description of the flanging machine: The flanging machine for dished heads consists of a base structure and an upper structure made up of electro-welded steel sheets, heat treated for welding by stress relieving.
