The MX-4200 Embedded Computer / IoT Gateways are industrial-grade, fanless, power-efficient systems with very compact dimensions. They are particularly suitable as IoT gateways and for the coupling of machines, systems and devices to the Internet. Internet connection is via the LAN interface. Local interfaces include CAN interfaces, RS485, RS422, RS232, M-Bus, I2C and one-wire interfaces as well as digital inputs and outputs. The MX-4200 computers are offered in several product variants, so that the system is optimally adapted to the respective requirement.The systems are available with both the latest Debian 9 / Stretch and Buildroot-based systems, both of which are freely programmable and configurable. For quick and easy application creation, extensive libraries and programming examples are available. Cloud services like Cumulocity are also supported. The standard CAN interface is both SocketCAN and the J1939 protocol. Power is supplied flexibly via a wide-range DC input. For usage of the system with e.g. an UPS, there is optionally available a control line for switching on and for signaling a switch-off request.Versatile mounting options and the compact dimensions of MX-4200 products allow it to be accommodated in a wide variety of installation situations. In addition to the mounting brackets, there is a mounting device with vibration and shock absorption. Mounting on a DIN rail can be done both vertically and horizontally.
