For use in Ex Zones 0 and 1, Balluff offers pressure-encapsulated BTL magnetostrictive linear position sensors in various rod configurations with various performance profiles. Depending on the application, you receive from us variants for areas that are threatened by gas or by dust. Magnetostrictive linear position sensors that withstand possible explosion hazards are also available for Zone 2. The housing for the BTL-J-DEXC-TA12 model series is robust and pressure-encapsulated. Its electronics module can be exchanged quickly and easily. This means that these variants meet the requirements set by the oil and gas industries for high reliability and easy service within the Ex zones.
