There are three new models available that add transparent USB 1.1 to VGA extension over a single CATx cable. Additionally, the video circuitry has been improved to allow 1600 x 1200 resolution up to 50 metres. All units provide local passthrough for the video signals. At the remote end, a 4-Port USB Hub provides connectivity to more than just the keyboard and mouse. Memory sticks, USB floppy or CD-ROM drives may be attached as well as many other USB 1.1 compliant components. This is the 'standard' extender. It provides extension for a single VGA signal to up to 50 metres and includes USB 1.1 over the same single CATx cable. At the same time, the local unit provides VGA splitting to allow monitoring at the PC site for administration purposes. The ACU4201A is similar to the ACU4001A; however, it also offers a second VGA channel that's transmitted over a separate CATx cable.Of course, both VGA signals are passed through on the local unit for administrative monitoring
