Description

The LB080 Series reciprocating gas compressors are the smallest models available of the LB Series. These compressors offer a flow rate of 8.45 CFM at 825 rpm and come in the LB081 and LB082 models. The LB080 Series compressors are well suited for portable use, small vessel unloading, and vapor recovery applications. All LB compressors are equipped with a ductile iron head and cylinder, high-efficiency valves, steel pistons, self-adjusting piston rod seals and other robust features designed for quiet efficient handling of propane, butane, and anhydrous ammonia. Even under the most severe service conditions, the LB Series gas compressors offer the best-combined characteristics of sustained high-level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation and low maintenance cost. Features and Benefits High efficiency valves move more gas volume O-ring seals for head and cylinder to ensure positive sealing Ductile iron construction for greater resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock Wear-resistant crosshead assemblies Heavy-duty crankshafts Pressure assisted piston rings for positive seating Self-adjusting piston rod seals Double and triple piston rod seals with distance piece chambers available
