BLANKE DISK is a revolutionary waterproofing system made of polyolefin foam that does not require tile adhesive to bond with the substrate. Much of the damage caused by moisture results from badly-installed sealing, and mostly occurs in the transitions from the wall to the floor, or by leaking overlaps. Impossible with BLANKE DISK! The full-surface adhesive with flush-fitting interleaving overlapping joints is 100% watertight. The composite sealing can be glued directly to floors and walls. Large format tiles can subsequently be laid without problem, and without the need to wait. Substrates must be primed with Blanke GROUND. Depending on the surface proper-ties, dilute Blanke GROUND to the prescribed level. Old tile surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly and do not need priming. Technically, primers by other providers of construction chemicals can also be used. This is subject to prior consultation with the Blanke Application Technology team. Corners should be sealed using BLANKE DISK CORN-I or CORN-A. Wall and floor joints are created using BLANKE DISK TAPE. Pipe openings are sealed using BLANKE DISK WM wall and BM floor collars. To sealbathtubs and showers, use the self-adhesive bathtub waterproofing membrane and the appropriate corner pieces. Surface sealing is carried out using BLANKE DISK
