This BOA shredder is designed to reduce large pieces of cardboard and long, thick-walled paper or cardboard tubes and cores. The KKS Shredder is the cost-effective solution for shredding cardboard sheets and paper and cores. Transport and handling costs of this voluminous material are significantly minimized. After shredding, the machine can be handled more easily - being for example, baled material or processed for re-use. The KKS shredder is very suitable for the paper and board industry, reducing faulty or surplus material for further process and recycling. It is mainly characterize by its durable features, easy control and cost efficiency. HOW DOES IS WORK? The shredder has three independently driven rotating shafts which run in opposite direction at different speeds. The shafts are controlled independently by means of frequency controls, which allow optimum shredding of different types of materials. The material will be placed on the feeding conveyor, then transported to the shredder. The heavy duty rotors are manufactured in cast iron and can be easily changed. These rotors are equipped with small needles which are made of hardened steel, to optimize the shear effect. Due to the relatively low operating speed (max. 75 rpm) the machine operates more quietly and also a low risk of fire.
