The Glass Breaker Screen was developed to break glass and screen it at 50mm. An optional second screening deck that screens at 120mm is also available to remove tin cans among other things, in preparation for separating metal. The Glass Breaker Screen is basically a 2 deck star screen which is designed for breaking and screening the glass fraction in a waste stream. To break the glass, the first deck comprises shafts with steel flower stars. The flower stars are made from very wear-resistant Hardox steel and have a diameter from 330mm. The second screening deck comprises conventional Lubo 235mm rubber stars, as standard. The optional second screening deck has solid steel axles with 330mm diameter rubber stars
