Frontally mounted honing spindles with dual actuator The structure of the Kappa G spindle is unique in the sector, both in terms of configuration and components. The “frontal beam” fixing system makes it possible to maintain the head rotation axis constantly perpendicular to the slab, meaning that the abrasive tools are perfectly positioned on the granite slab. The spindle dual actuator system controls machining pressure with extreme sensitivity, respecting also softer and more fragile stone materials and guaranteeing minimum response times for head lifts, to the benefit of perimeter honing quality. System with low load masses for perfect management of pressure values The specific configuration of the spindles relieves the load on the abrasive tools so that also more precious and super exotic materials can be processed. The force required to allow the abrasive tools to process the stone surface can be selected by the operator by means of pressure values adjustable by 0.1. With this system the heads follow the working surface perfectly, even on imperfectly flat slabs, achieving extremely high and uniform gloss values.
